Carol and I just love to create portraits for babies! So, yes we have a special for them. We call it Baby’s First Year, and it is packed with great value! Most moms and dads want frequent portraits of their baby as a wee tiny infant. Then they get more portraits at 3 - 6 and 9 months, just to remember all the changes baby showed so quickly. The big one is the First Birthday portrait.

Mom and Dad like to be included in the portraits, and that is so important. So we do the portrait session to suite your preferences. Then, after the 1st birthday portrait, we can create a Story Board of all the portraits Baby has since birth. WOW ~ what a treasure for you and for Baby when she/he grows up.

At about 4 and ½ months Max has the potential to be a football star. He’s well built and ready to go on the line. Carol and I had a real blast creating Max’s first baby portraits. It was fun, too, to see Susan and Ted (Max’s Mom and Dad) again. We did their wedding photography about 5 years ago. Mom and Dad chose to have us create a Story Board with 3 of Max’s portraits. He has great smiles in all the poses! With results like this it’s no wonder Carol and I enjoy doing baby portraits!

Who says your wedding memories can only come in 4 x 6 or a traditional matted album? Here is a way to keep your memories on the wall and alive every time you pass by. This Story Board is 16 x 20, but they can be made larger. It’s a great way to display favorite wedding photographs! Come see the actual print at the Bridal Show coming up at the Woodlands Mall on October 19. We’ll be in the J. C. Penney court having fun showing all that’s new in wedding photography.

Wedding bells rang at 2:00 last Saturday as Valerie and Frank exchanged their vows. About 250 relatives and friends were there to celebrate with them at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and then toast them at Wyndehaven Terrace during their reception. There was a whole lot of huggin’ and kissin’ going on! This was Karter’s first time to be a flower girl, but she handled it like a pro. Josh, the ring bearer, had already been in 3 weddings so he had his part down pat. Once the cake was cut and the toasts were offered the party really got into full swing. We had no shortage of subjects for wedding photographs. Valerie and Frank will return from their honeymoon over the weekend, and we will have their previews posted on our web gallery for them to enjoy.

We had to keep this beautiful bridal portrait hidden from Frank. Now that they are married it can be put on display. Valerie is so stunning in her wedding gown! We created her bridal portraits at Mercer Arboretum with the help of Charlotte, her mom, Vanessa, her sister, and Jennifer, her maid of honor. It looked like a Hollywood production with the helpers carrying the bouquet and holding the train as we moved from one location to another. When we stopped at a good spot for the next poses, the helpers went into action with mirror and makeup. Valerie chose her favorite pose for her 16 x 20 Signature Portrait that was on display at the reception. She also got a Brag Book with 10 other favorites to show to Frank and her friends. Now Valerie and Charlotte can decide who gets to keep the wall portrait!

Courtney is such a sweetheart. And very articulate for her 3 years. She likes to play games. Calling her black dress pink and saying a doggy goes “meow” makes her giggle. We created this Story Board portrait for her. It’s a great way to show many poses from a children’s portrait session. Christie and Michael have been bringing Courtney to us for her portraits since she was 2 weeks old. We did her Baby’s First Year series and her 2nd birthday portrait too. Mom and dad have many beautiful portrait memories to cherish, and Carol and I have had loads of fun!
