Children's Story Board Portraits
Aiden & Marshall are Buddies

Mom wanted a portrait of Aiden with his dog, Marshall, but she wasn’t sure how well Marshall would do in the studio. Well, Marshall did just fine as you can see. He likes his buddy, Aiden, and they are a team. He posed like a movie star!

This was our first time to meet Marshall, but Aiden is an old friend of ours. We did baby portraits, portraits with Mom and Dad, portraits in the park on all the slides and rocking horses. He’s a go-getter! It’s easy to get tired just watching all the stuff he likes to do. But he likes to have his portrait made, and we have loads of fun capturing his ever-changing expressions.

We thank Lisa and Kenneth for letting us share in their family life.

Ryan likes to giggle!

This was his 6 month portrait, and it was his first time in our studio. At first he was pretty serious trying to figure out what this place was all about. It didn’t take long for him to decide he could have some fun here. Grandma helped with the teasing, and Mommy tickled with our big yellow feather. Ryan did a great job of giving big portrait smiles for Mommy and Daddy!

Courtney's Giggles & Grins

Courtney is such a sweetheart. And very articulate for her 3 years. She likes to play games. Calling her black dress pink and saying a doggy goes “meow” makes her giggle. We created this Story Board portrait for her. It’s a great way to show many poses from a children’s portrait session. Christie and Michael have been bringing Courtney to us for her portraits since she was 2 weeks old. We did her Baby’s First Year series and her 2nd birthday portrait too. Mom and dad have many beautiful portrait memories to cherish, and Carol and I have had loads of fun!

Ashley and Andrew with Mom and Dad

Ashley and Andrew are just so cute and energetic. We did portraits of the children at Mercer Arboretum where they had a great time investigating the great outdoors. They went from one area to another checking out all the critters from squirrels to bugs.

While we were at it, we had Mom and Dad, Molly and Chad, join in with the children for a family portrait. It’s always a lot of fun for us when we do portraits at Mercer. There are just so many areas with great backgrounds and places for posing. It easy to do the posing there, and even the kids forget it’s all about getting their portrait made.

After the session Molly came to the studio for previewing. We did a slide show of all the images and then went through them one by one. She made her selections for individual portraits and a framed Wall Folio. It only took about 45 minutes. So fast and easy. The portraits are now on their wall, and they have great memories of this time in their life!
