Two active young guys who always have a great time together. They brought mom and dad - Natalie and Josh - out for a family portrait last Saturday. It was a great day for an outdoor portrait with perfect lighting and pretty good temperature. Any time we do a family portrait we also do the kids together and individually. Then we do some poses of mom and dad. Ty and Jake like to have their picture taken, and they did really well with poses and expressions. Natalie and Josh feel that it is important to do portraits regularly so that everyone can recall these growing-up years with a picture-perfect memory.
Red convertables and really fast bikes don't come in front of my camera often. When one of each shows up at the same time, it's a real thrill! Debbie and Britt have 2 fine looking toys, and I had a blast using up the gigabytes on shots from every angle. Debbie and Britt even got to be in some of the pics.
They decided to do a Story Board with some of their favorite images. It looks really great in the frame Debbie chose. When I hit the lottery I may just "invest" in some toys like theirs!
Alan Van sent me an email the other day asking for some copies of the family portrait we did for him and Susan almost 2 years ago. His high school reunion is coming up in October, and he wanted to post some pictures on the reunion website. His class graduated in '68, so this is an important reunion.
Susan and Alan have 3 beautiful and successful daughters - Terry, Crystal and Stacey. Stacey married Andy in 2005, and we did their wedding photography. As I recall, we produced a very handsome matted wedding album for them. So we did the family portrait, and as always we did all the combinations too.
Carol and I pulled the family portrait DVD from our digital archives and re-loaded the images on the computer. So much easier than working with negatives. Alan had picked some images he wanted for the reunion. I re-formatted the images to 5 x 7 at 100 ppi. The smaller size and low resolution make for faster loading on websites and email.
Alan has his photos, and here's to a great time at the reunion!
